100th anniversary of military aviation in Hungary

Kecskeméti Nemzetközi Repülönap 2010

In 2010, the Hungarian Air Force celebrated the centenary of civil and military aviation in Hungary. Also the 30th anniversary of the first and so far only Hungarian space flight of Bertalan Farkas was honoured.  This year’s 11th International Air Show & Military Exposition at Hungary’s main fighter base Kecskemét was held on 7th and 8th August to celebrate this historical dates for the Hungarian Aviation . . .

The Romanian Air Force used the doubleseater trainer version of the Lancer for the display. The single seated was seen in the static.

The neighbours of Slovakia send two MiG-29s to Kecskemet.
